NEET PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate) is a national level entrance exam in India. The exam is conducted for doctors who want to study MD, MS or other postgraduate medical courses after completing their MBBS. The exam is held by National Board of Examinations (NBE)The NEET PG syllabus is based on the subjects taught during the MBBS course as per the guidelines of the NMC. It includes topics from three stages of MBBS which are Pre-clinical, Para-clinical and Clinical subjects.

This syllabus checks how well a student has understood the main topics studied in MBBS. It helps to find out if the candidate is ready to study more in the medical field. Even though the NBE does not give an official syllabus separately but for reference students can use the MBBS syllabus for preparation. The NEET PG 2025 syllabus tests a candidate's knowledge and understanding of all important medical topics studied during MBBS.
