ISAT 2025 Exam Syllabus

The ISAT (International Student Admissions Test) does not assess subject-specific medical knowledge. Instead, it evaluates core skills essential for success in medical and health science programs. The exam focuses on two main domains:

  • Critical Reasoning: Assesses the ability to analyze, interpret, and evaluate information presented in various formats. This includes understanding arguments, identifying assumptions, drawing logical conclusions, and problem-solving using written, graphical, or tabular data.
  • Quantitative Reasoning: Measures the capacity to reason with numerical and mathematical concepts. This includes interpreting data, solving quantitative problems, understanding relationships, and applying mathematical reasoning to real-world scenarios.

ISAT 2025 Exam Admit Card

The ISAT medical exam does not issue a traditional admit card or hall ticket like many other entrance exams.  Once the candidates successfully register for the ISAT and pay the application fee, they must have received an email with instructions to book the test session through ProctorU. The confirmation email the candidates receive after scheduling the test with ProctorU acts as the official authorization to take the ISAT.

On the day of the exam, applicants are required to present a valid ID proof to verify your identity before starting the test. There is no separate downloadable or printable admit card provided by ACER for the ISAT. It is important to carefully follow all instructions received via email and ensure students must have the necessary identification and technical setup ready for your scheduled test session.

ISAT 2025 Exam Results

ISAT 2025 exam results are released within two weeks of the last day of each test window. Candidates will receive an email notification from the ISAT after the results are ready. To access results, candidates must log in to their ACER account using the credentials created during registration. The results are presented as scaled scores, which assess performance in Quantitative Reasoning and Critical Reasoning.

Since ISAT does not have a fixed passing score, universities set their own cutoff criteria for admissions. Candidates can download their score report from the ACER website and use it for applications to medical, dental, and health science programs in Australia.

Candidates should follow these steps to download the results:

Step 1: Visit the official website of ISAT

Step 2: Login ACER using credentials.

Step 3: Now click on results and it will be displayed on the screen.

Step 4: Download it for further reference.

ISAT Exam Cut-Offs

ISAT medical does not have a universal, centrally published cut-off score. Instead, each participating university sets its own minimum ISAT score or cut-off for consideration, and these requirements can vary significantly between institutions and even from year to year.
