NEET PG Exam 2025: Exam Pattern, Admit Card & Dates
Jul 12, 2025The NEET PG 2025 is a national-level entrance examination and is conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE) for admission into MD, MS, and PG Diploma programs in India. The application process started on April 17, 2025, and the exam will be held on August 3, 2025, in a single shift. The admit card will be available for download from 31st July 2025, and the result is expected in early September 2025.
The application process was conducted by the NBEMS website online. Candidates had to fill in their personal and academic details, upload required documents, and pay the application fee of INR 3,500 for the general category and INR 2,000 for SC/ST/PwD categories. To be eligible for the NEET PG Exam 2025, applicants must hold an MBBS degree from a recognized institute and must have completed or be completing their 1-year internship by 31st July 2025. They should also be registered with MCI or the state medical council (SMC). There is no age limit and not any attempt limit.
The examination will be held in online mode (computer-based mode), and it will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions in English. The exam duration is 3.5 hours with +4 marks for each right answer and -1 for each incorrect answer. NEET PG 2025 will be conducted in over 200 cities across India. After the declaration of the results, counselling will be held by MCC NEET PG for the All India Quota seats and by state authorities for the state quota seats. Counseling is expected to start in September 2025 and continue in multiple rounds until early 2026.

NEET PG 2025 Exam Cities

NEET PG 2025 Counselling Schedule
The NEET PG 2025 counselling will be done online for seat allotment to qualified students.
